Course Structure

To qualify as an ACCA member, a candidate will be required to do the following:

Attempt and clear 13 exams, earning you the status of an ACCA affiliate; record 3-year experience in a relevant role (the candidate can acquire the experience before/during/after completion of the qualification); and complete the ethics and professional skills module.

The holistic approach in its curriculum trains you to take up diverse roles; further enabling you to perform strategic tasks and fulfil roles like that of a CFO or a CEO. An ACCA can also be employed as a governance officer, a business advisor, an auditor, a business analyst etc.

Being an international qualification, the ACCA qualification offers multiple choice at a wide range of organizations abroad. The average starting salary of an ACCA qualified fresher ranges from INR 3,50,000 to INR 4,00,000 per annum in India alone (may change depending on the situations). The pay scale is bound to increase overseas.

Exams must be taken in the following order: Knowledge Level, Skill Level, and Professional Level. Within any Level You can attempt different papers in any order of your preference.

You can enter for two consecutive exam sessions at the same time, and you can book up to 4 exams per session, and up to 8 unique exams per calendar year. It would be up to you to decide how much time you must study and prepare for examinations and how many you would like to enter for.

You are required to submit copies of the following:

• Official educational documents e.g. completion certificates & transcripts detailing the
modules studied so far.
• Proof of identity (copy of birth certificate/passport/National ID Card or driver’s license)
• Passport-style photograph

Please note that where documents have been issued in a language other than English, we require a photocopy of the original language documents and a copy of an official English translation. You will be able to upload and attach copies of all documentation to your online application. Please note that in order to fully complete your application online you will be required to pay your registration fee by credit or debit card.

Students can sit a maximum of 4 exams at each exam session, and a maximum of eight distinct exams each calendar year. You could therefore complete all of the exams in 2 years. However, as you also need 3 years of practical work experience before you can become an ACCA member & be considered a qualified accountant, the qualification takes a minimum of 3 years.
